A Penny for Your Thoughts....
I found this intersting post today on the value of the trusty penny and I think it's worth a read. I agree that we should just do away with the penny altogether. What purpose does it really serve?

I'm a bit disturbed that someone could make a post about pennies and get over 100 comments on it.
I think it's amazingly awesome. I wish I could get as many posts. Maybe I should beg for them.
You could try groveling. . .or maybe it's grovelling. I find I can't speel anymore:-)
i got distracted and didn't read the whole post but i would like to add that what bothers me is the fraction of a cent gas stations get away with charging. if a penny is bad, a fraction of a penny is worse.
